Rates
Individual Rates: $140 for a 50 minute session.
Post-Secondary Student Rates: $120 for a 50 minute session.
Please note that I offer a 20 minute complementary introductory meeting.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your extended health insurance or employee benefit plan. I encourage you to call your insurance provider or employer and ask specifically if Registered Social Workers are covered. In addition it may be possible to get a small income tax deduction when claiming for medical expenses. Revenue Canada recognizes Social Work as a health profession and exempts Registered Social Workers from charging GST for their clinical counselling services. They, along with psychologists and psychiatrists, are the only exempted clinical counselling groups.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card at the end of each session. I will provide you with an official receipt that you can submit to your extended health provider.
